About Us

Jonathan is the lead pastor and planter of Connection Church in Sioux Falls. He has been married to Shelby for 9 years, and together they are raising two daughters, Harper and Cora. The Land family moved to South Dakota in January of 2013 to begin planting Connection Church.

Jonathan has been in the ministry for over 12 years. He received a dual degree in Religion and Psychology from McMurry University in Abilene, Texas and a Master’s of Divinity from Princeton Theological Seminary in Princeton, New Jersey. Shelby has a degree in Early Childhood Education from Texas Tech University. She is a stay-at-home mom and works alongside Jonathan.

Church planting has been in the hearts of Jonathan and Shelby for many years now, and they are passionate about God’s call on their lives to see the Gospel publicized in Sioux Falls.
