CHILDREN

At Emmaus Road we believe that God entrusts children to us to nurture and disciple in the faith. Therefore, children are welcome to remain with the congregation during the entire service; if you need to walk around with an infant in the back, feel free to. On non-communion Sundays the children are invited to come forward for a Children’s Sermon. On communion Sundays we encourage parents to bring children forward who do not take communion to receive prayer. We encourage you to also utilize one of the following ministries:

Nursery: There is a nursery available for children ages 0-3. Four-year-olds can be placed in the nursery for a Bible lesson and snacks during the sermon.

Junior Church: Children ages 3-6 are welcome to attend Junior Church, a time of age-appropriate teaching during the sermon. They will be dismissed for Junior Church prior to the sermon and will return afterward.
